Taking place over two days 19-20th September in the heart of Shoreditch, Design & Craft will be accompanied by an exhibition in the celebrated Upmarket showcasing a unique selection of photography, art works and craft works. This will be a FREE exhibition to run along side the Design & Craft fair.

Photographer Adem Aydın also presents his work in this exhibition. ‘The Turks of London’ is a project shot in response to Leave.EU’s claim that Turkey’s long sought after EU membership was imminent, leaving the UK with the prospect of millions of Turks migrating to the UK. This project aims to give a face to the community who already live among us and have done so for generations. In this series, you can see images from the Alevi Dance group, a chef from Gökyüzü; winner of the 2017 London Kebab Awards, cultural collaborations from ‘Istanbul Meets London’, as well as London’s ‘Ottoman Marching Band’.
